A private members’ club, our facilities provide both indoor and outdoor bowling. The indoor green consists of 6 rinks, and to make the club Covid safe, a new air conditioning system has been installed to bring in fresh air and improve air quality.
The main outdoor green is an all-weather surface of five rinks, but can be made into seven, as the need arises. Our outdoor facility generally operates during the summer months, but in these difficult times has been used, when permitted at other times to provide access to bowling when our indoor facility has had to close.
The club has a bar and large seating area where people can meet up and chat and where social events such as monthly bingo and quizzes are held.
The Club is open to the whole community, those with a visual impairment or physical disability are welcome. The Club has regular roll-up sessions for visually impaired bowlers and runs weekly sessions hosted by club coaches for a local Parkinsons group.
We have a good car park adjacent to the buildings, and there is a well-stocked bar.
The Club participates in a variety of club, County and National competitions, both outdoor and indoor, and welcomes bowlers of all abilities.
